What is SAGA?

Life is hard. No matter how old we are, or what circumstances life has presented us with, there are moments when we feel stuck and alone. That is where SAGA comes in.

Standing for Support, Accountability, Goals, and Authenticity, SAGA focuses on gaining and refining the skills to live a healthy and fulfilling life.

SAGA is broken up into three phases focusing on skills that build on themselves throughout each phase. Each phase is 3 months in duration to ensure that participants have adequate time to soak in all of the skills and personal development.

Phases of SAGA

The 3 phases of SAGA concentrate on main themes of Security, Building Self, Wellness, and Connecting to Others. The length of SAGA and the fact that the skills build on themselves allows participants to have a deep, comprehensive understanding of the skills and build expertise in their lives.

In phase one, we focus on identifying our strengths, assessing our current support system/learning how to build strong supports, and introducing the importance of nutrition and physical health.

Phase two highlights' routines, healthy habits, emotional regulation/anger management skills, communication skills and building consistency in our lives.

Phase three reiterates the skills and conversations held in the last two phases and pinpoints how to implement these skills in our everyday lives. Phase three incorporates several outings and guest speakers to help individuals absorb the skills fully.

Why choose SAGA?

Committing the time and energy it takes to see real change in yourself can be a lot. With how busy and chaotic life can get it is very hard to prioritize ourselves. We at SAGA understand this and work to make this journey a worthy one.

SAGA incorporates hands-on activities in each group and finds creative ways for participants to learn the material. At the end of each phase we spend a day celebrating the accomplishments and hard work that went into this process!

Participants will also be working closely with the other members of SAGA in order to build a tight knit community of like-minded individuals. As an added bonus, participants meet with a wellness coach for individualized support!

Pre - SAGA

In the time you are waiting for a new cohort of SAGA to begin, we hold Pre-SAGA meetings in order to build consistency and community with the facilitators and SAGA participants.
